Repair tips and Worst Case scenarios

If the CPU-cooling unit and the fan are too strongly polluted, the CPU heats up and the heat sink compound desiccates. This in turn could affect the mainboard to take heavy damage und stops function.

In the worst case it can result in data losses, which could not be restored any more.

Again and again one becomes angry, because a blue screen appears and the current work wasn’t stored.

Dirt causes an overheating of the CPU and Windows reacts to that with a blaue screen. The text appears then something mysterious. In most cases, the device is running after an intensive cleaning again as usual. And always thinking of that: Otherwise, keep a cool head; otherwise there will be a blue screen!

In the case of pollution the metal heats up and as one can see in the first picture, it can completely dissolve. In this case it immediately could happen that the graphics card produces patrols on the display while playing 3D-games or the fan of the graphics card, if available, points out to be very noisy.

When one works without knowing it with a defective capacitor, the danger exists, that the power supply unit burns through and in this case damaging other components, too. That happens if a capacitor clears too much electricity at a time. In most cases, the mainboard, the power supply unit and the hard disk were damaged.

If one finds out that the pc has this issue, there should be quickly made a backup of the most important data and then take the pc to a repair shop.
